Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,

This year has been another huge success and we are incredibly proud of all that the children have achieved. They have worked hard in lessons, played sports, attended competitions and festivals, put on plays and performances and tried their very best in everything.

A huge well done to Year 6 for their superb end of year performance which was enjoyed by the school and parents alike. I would like to wish them all the very best in their new secondary schools, and I hope you know how proud we are of you and how much you will be missed. Happy holi-days!

Hillborough Junior School are thrilled to be part of the Tower of London Superbloom pro-ject. There are only 50 schools in the country who are partners with The Tower for this pro-ject, and the children are very excited to be joining in. The Tower of London is transform-ing it’s Moat into a garden to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, but to also encourage people to spend more time outdoors for the benefit of our mental health following Covid. The moat will be a walk-through garden that will be filled with plants and flowers and at a certain time, the whole moat will turn blue! We have some of the same seeds as the Tower and have planted them here. We hope that our own ‘Superbloom’ will occur at the same time as the one in London.
